FanHub
I only spent a short time with the team at FanHub, but I still impacted the brand's digital presence and learned plenty of lessons.
My initial role was on the Social Media Management side before being moved towards Community Management.
Despite a limited time with the company, I was still able to assist in their growth.
Skills Obtained
Content Ideation
A big part of my first phase at FanHub was to ideate many different content ideas, testing to see what worked best.
Working alongside another content executive, we ideated and implemented a comprehensive plan across all platforms, all of which resulted in major growth.
With things moving fast, I was constantly challenged to find new and exciting ways to sell the brand.
Email Marketing
One of the major new skills I obtained during this role was email marketing.
Using MailChimp, I designed, planned and delivered a number of email campaigns, highlighting new app feautres and appealing to specific supporters.
I quickly learnt how to adopt a brand-specific tone of voice within email marketing and developed an understanding of how it can be effectively used to promote and highlight key events.
Community Management
As my role changed, I was required to adapt and one adaptation was to the role of Community Manager.
I was tasked with creating surveys and collecting data, feeding the results back to key stakeholders.
I also brought together a team of app users, meaning that feedback could be quickly delivered and acted upon.
As part of my role, I also responded to user queries and issues.
Data Reporting
One of the major tasks I undertook when in the role was to create and deliver a survey that assessed user experience with the app.
Over 400 people answered the survey and it was my job to sift through this data and present it in an easy to understand way.
This task allowed key stakeholders to react to certain complaints and issues, refining the app's projection and userbility.
Achievements
My time with the company was short, but there were still some successes along the way.
I took away a lot of lessons from working in this unique start-up environment.
